HISTORY
The history of dog shows in the Saint John, New
Brunswick
area goes back to 1881, before the organization of the Canadian Kennel
Club
or the American Kennel Club. From those humble beginnings ,
the New Brunswick Kennel Club was established in 1907.
Thirty years later the club was incorporated and continues today.
August 22, 2005 was a noteworthy day in the club’s history, marked by
the
hosting of our 400th conformation dog show.
Now it’s 2007, and we are proudly celebrating our Centennial.
